My readers already know that I’m a huge fan of bodyweight training. Bodyweight training gets results fast when you know what you are doing and you are consistent with your training. Obviously, doing 3 pull-ups here, 5 push-ups there won’t get you anywhere. As with anything that’s worth achieving in life, you need a solid program that’s proven to work.
What’s Inside Ripped with Bodyweight
The Workouts and The Workout Routines
Ripped with Bodyweight comes with three routines:
- Beginner routine
- Intermediate routine
- The main routine
All routines are 12-week long (4 workouts per week) with each workout lasting less than 45 minutes (on average). So, you will train for a total of fewer than 3 hours per week.
The routines only differ in workload. The main routine is where the greatest gains happen but it’s also the toughest. Beginner and intermediate routines serve to build up strength for the main routine. I encourage everybody to start with the main routine but for those of you who may be frustrated with the intensity of the main routine, I made available the beginner and the intermediate routines.
Muscle Building, Fat Burning Diet
When I was training to get six-pack abs, I frequently got frustrated with the lack of solid diet information that is customized for building lean muscle while losing fat at the same time.
It wasn’t until I found the correct way to eat that I got my six-pack abs. In Ripped with Bodyweight, there’s an entire chapter on muscle building and fat burning diet which took me years of trial and error to perfect. Luckily, you don’t have to deal with the frustration I went through because I put everything I learned about muscle building, fat burning diet in Ripped with Bodyweight.
Exercises With Photo Tutorials
There are only 8 bodyweight exercises that you will be doing over and over. They are simple and well-known exercises such as the good old pull-ups and push-ups.
All the exercises come with detailed explanations and photo tutorials on how to execute them in their correct form.
Every exercise has an easier version for those of you who aren’t able to perform the full version of a particular exercise, yet. For example, I wasn’t able to perform a single pull-up when I started bodyweight training. I built up strength with the easy version of pull-ups until I could do a proper pull-up. Now I can perform 30 strict pull-ups in a row thanks to the progression methods in Ripped with Bodyweight.
Never hesitate to start bodyweight training for the sole reason that you are unable to perform a particular bodyweight exercise. All Ripped with Bodyweight exercises have easier versions that anybody can perform. This allows you to complete all your workouts from start to finish without interruption. You will see that you will quickly build strength and start doing the full versions of all the exercises.
Building muscle is impossible without progressive overload. There’s a chapter in Ripped with Bodyweight that explains how to apply progressive overload to your training routine so that you keep building muscle.

Muscle Building Mindset
Muscle building mindset is subtle but it’s not easy to figure out without trial and error for it’s not predictable before you start your program.
The mind is an essential component of building a lean, ripped, and athletic body. When the mind doesn’t want to train, the body won’t train.
Building muscle isn’t easy. Your mind will play tricks on you to talk you out of training. Ripped with Bodyweight comes with a chapter on muscle building mindset which you can refer to when the going gets tough.
