On Sunday I was at the grocery store. There were two young boys working there to help the cashier put the grocery items in nylon bags. They asked me how I built my six-pack abs.
The flattering thing is, I was wearing a shirt. I’m not walking around topless in grocery stores.
My ab muscles are so big, they are noticeable even when I have a shirt on.
Fastest Way To Get Rock Hard Abs
So, how do you grow ab muscles so big that they are noticeable even when you are wearing a shirt?
The answer is going for the best and cutting out the rest.
The fastest results always come from the best practices.
You don’t need to spend countless hours in the gym to grow your ab muscles.
Hell, you don’t even need to go to the gym.
I never train more than 4 hours a week. Actually, I train 3 hours a week on average. There have been many weeks that I trained only 2 hours in total.
When you cut out the bullshit and focus on the results, you save yourself a tremendous amount of time.
I never do crunches or cable movements or any other time-consuming ab exercises.
I go for the best and only the best.
I don’t have time for anything else.

The 2 Best Ab Exercises
1. Burpees
There’s a reason this is #1.
Burpee is the king of all bodyweight exercises.
Your body wants to grow as a whole.
Burpee is a full body workout.
Burpees make your abs, chest, arms, leg, back and butt muscles work all at the same time.
Your abs will be the hardest working set of muscles during a burpee.
Of course, doing only one burpee will do nothing for your body.
Do 150 burpees and now we are talking business.
Doing 150 burpees in a training session is tough.
I recommend you to try doing 150. Don’t quit easily.
If you can’t do it yet, you can start with doing 30-50 burpees a session and gradually move up.
Burpees require no equipment so you can do them at home.

2. Sit-Ups
Sit-up is an excellent exercise for your abdomens because it works your abs directly and allows a full muscle contraction.
Sit-ups require no equipment either.
You can do them in the comfort of your home.
Doing sit-ups is easier than doing burpees. You shouldn’t be having much trouble doing 150 sit-ups in a training session.
If you absolutely can’t do it, you can start by doing 50-80 sit-ups a session and gradually move up.

Conclusion
The best way to get rock-hard abs is by doing compound exercises that work your ab muscles along with the other muscles in your body.
Burpees and sit-ups are the two best compound bodyweight exercises that intensively train your abs.
They are not easy. Burpees are especially difficult. And, certainly, doing 150 of them in a day is not easy either.
I do them because they are effective.
Once you get used to doing them consistently, you will see that you will be completing them in a matter of minutes.
Keep in mind that I never recommend you to train a single muscle group in your body. Always train your whole body. Add to your training routine other compound bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, pull-ups, lunges, bodyweight squats, leg raises and jumps and you will build the body of a Greek god with rock hard abs.
