Once I was fat and weak, but I am fit, lean and muscular now.
I’ve been to both sides of the story, so I have first-hand knowledge of how it feels to be fit, lean and muscular compared to being fat and weak.
When I was fat and weak, I wasn’t able to visualize how my life would be if I was lean and strong.
After years of hard work and dedication, I managed to be somebody with a body. So, hopefully, I can inspire you to do the same, explaining my experiences about being in great shape.
Reasons To Be Fit, Lean, And Muscular
*Your health improves. Health should be the #1 priority in everybody’s life because when you are unhealthy, nothing else matters. You can be the richest person in the world but if you are not healthy, all the money you have doesn’t matter.

*Your confidence improves (a lot). Confidence is the most important ingredient of achievement. Achieving a great body builds mental toughness because you overcome lots of mental and physical barriers along the way. Mental toughness brings a level of confidence to push through obstacles which translates into any endeavor you undertake in your life. You will also have better posture which will grant you even more confidence.

*Your sex life becomes better. Strength training increases testosterone and improves the blood circulation mechanism in your body. As a result, you will get stronger erections. It becomes easier to attract better-looking girls (especially younger girls) as you look more attractive and you have better confidence. The more attractive the girl you bang, the more enjoyable the sex is. You will also look terrific naked, which alleviates huge anxiety about taking your clothes off in front of a girl before having sex.

*You get more respect from other people. People are reluctant to respect fat and weak men. I know that from my own experience. When you are lean and strong, both men and women will respect you more. People will often go out of their way to accommodate you. Your loved ones will look up to you.
*You become an inspiration to other people. We live in an age of obesity, comfort and instant gratification. There are not many people around who are in great physical shape. People are greatly affected by their environment. If they see a person in great shape in their vicinity, they will want to be in great shape too. I lost count of how many people around me decided to go on a diet or take up strength training just because they see how I look and live.
*Your habits change for the better. After I started strength training, I began eating healthier foods, sleeping earlier and waking up earlier, quit drinking beer, started dressing sharper, quit watching sports, read more books than ever and so on. All these things add up to a better quality of life.
*Clothes shopping is not torturing anymore. When I was fat and weak, I dreaded clothes shopping because every item I tried would look like shit on me. Now it’s much more fun because almost anything I wear looks terrific on my body. You’ll be surprised that even the most basic shirt will look like the best shirt in the world when you wear it on your fit, lean, and muscular body.
*Physical activity doesn’t bother you much. At the times when I was fat, I would even dread walking to a grocery store 50 meters away from my house. There would be weekends during which I never stepped foot outside of my house. I would order food online from the internet. Now, I don’t even think twice when I need to go out and do some physical activity. In contrast, I enjoy it. You will simply have more stamina for everything you do in your life.
*You have a peace of mind. When you are out of shape, you feel it in your gut that there’s something wrong with you even if you try to convince yourself otherwise. You constantly dread about it and wish you were in shape. When you get in shape all those worries vanish. You feel good 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
*Once you get there, maintaining your shape is infinitely easier. It’s often said that getting to the top is tough but staying there is even tougher. This is untrue for getting in great shape. The human body is lazy. It doesn’t like to change. When you are transforming your body, it will resist change but after you push through its reluctance, you will set a new standard for your body so it’s infinitely easier to maintain a great shape than getting there.
*You put yourself to the top. Being out of shape, fat and weak is the new norm in the modern world. The average modern male is all of these. Being an average man is a disaster. Average men are not desired by women, they are not respected, they are constantly shit on. Being an average man can even kill you. The good news is, since the average man sucks this bad, beating the average has never been easier. Once you become fit, lean and muscular, voila, you just put yourself among the top 5% of all the men in the world.
Getting Fit, Lean, And Muscular Is Worth It
Although it’s tough to get lean, fit and muscular, benefits last a lot longer after you put in the hard work and arrive. It also has a lot of indirect benefits which are hard to visualize before putting in the work and achieving the body of your dreams. Once you get there you will be on easy street and enjoy the benefits for a full lifetime provided that you manage to keep the habits you acquired along the way.
If you are considering to take up strength training, do it and you will thank yourself later. You will need to overcome many obstacles and setbacks along the way, but they will most probably be nothing sort of insurmountable. Just be mindful of the obstacles and setbacks but don’t let them frighten you into inaction.
